ACCESS Information & Referral! Are You OK? We are interested in beginning a new project to match a volunteer to a senior in need. Reassurance volunteers make daily calls to seniors who live alone to check on their well-being and to provide assistance if needed. This daily call, 7 days a week, helps seniors live with dignity and a sense of safety and personal security. This service is provided at no cost. Confidentiality of seniors and volunteers is always protected. All Reassurance volunteers receive training in listening skills, the aging process, loneliness, grief and loss, and how to handle daily calls before being assigned a client.
